How can I use Norton Ghost to clone my system?
I'm totally confused not use any recovery software. How can I clone (backup) of my entire system using Norton Ghost. I have a 250GB hard drive WHOLE iwant To clone 250 GB, I guess if I CLONE Then How much would the size of the backup FILE.if the size of the backup would be the size of the original data then what Use is the use of separate software Ithe can write data to a DVD or any media.why MOST PEOPLE USE OF RECOVERY SOFTWARE (NORTON GHOST ,............) _? ???. Suppose If I create a 30GB backup file Let's say even then you have to save that backup FILE ON DVD ?????? PLS ANS PLSSSSS'M IN MY Q REAL PROBLEMS
I think if clone of 250 GB, you will be given a file of 250 GB - although I suppose you've never used last megabyte on your hard drive, so only clone YOUR DATA. Norton Ghost is a bit-by-bit Cloner, which lets you take your hard drive and make a perfect copy of it, so if your hard drive dies, all you have to do is put the ghost back in a new hard disk and, boom, you're back up. Although I am not sure if you give the file of 250 GB, or a compressed file.
