Not every day we witness the birth of a truly exceptional phone packed with features. This was what happened when the Blackberry Curve 8900 was introduced to the British market later this year and has since enjoyed rapid sales and pending revisions since then. User feedback has been generally positive with most going to give high marks in consumer surveys. Most of the things you expect to be done very easily using BlackBerry 8900 Curve, the only thing we can do is perhaps to use Skype on it. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 model mobile phone has helped RIM (the company that makes Blackberries is Research in Motion) hit that elusive sweet spot with consumers, whereas before only business people use smart phones, all users have had a great fondness for this phone.
Display crisp and clear. The display is an eye-catcher with a capacity of 65 thousand of its color with a higher resolution of 480 x 360 pixels. This means you will not strain your eyes reading the messages, even under direct sunlight. The phone comes with a nice backlight if you are in a darker environment.
The new Blackberry 8900 Curve feels a little different from the previous model series of curves. It is lighter and elegant but the weight is just enough to give a firm idea and grip. It fits very comfortably in the palm with a good solid feel without getting heavy. The phone weighs only 110gms.
A newly designed full QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard of the new BlackBerry Curve 8900 has now been a little narrower but still wide enough in compared to a standard mobile phone handset. But this has not diminished its functionality. The only complaints are probably coming from people with hands very big or fat!
A 3.2 megapixel camera, performs very well for most of the shots every day, plus a large LED flash, which is bright enough for adequate lighting. Hardware in the back had been reconfigured for the Blackberry 8900 Curve one of the best phones ever on the market today. The slot for microSD had been moved to below the battery (next to the SIM card slot), which is better able for hot swapping.
Best hardware and applications. Commercial documents can be edited on this phone. The improvement of the lithium battery type and not heated as soon Curve and Bold models in the series. This handset has 5.5 hours of talk time and 360 hours of standby time.
