Minutes Cingular

A job prepaid Cingular Wireless phone with my monthly plan minutes after the prepayment is exhausted?

I have a Cingular plan and my phone was submerged and no longer works. I can not afford $ 200 dollars for a new one. I am not eligible for an upgrade. The SIM card is fine. I buy one of the phones that come with prepaid wireless service and $ 50 dollars and then use my plan once the minutes are consumed? Is the SIM card work in it? I do not care what kind of phone that is. I had the cheapest of all forms, the Nokia 6010. But even those are close to $ 200 in the Cingular store if not the signing of a new service contract. So I'm looking for an alternative to payment of that amount.

Yes, you should be able to do that. Call Cingular and ask them to tell what you do. You have trouble changing SIM cards between phones, but Im not sure. Either way Cingular will tell you what to do.

Before the end of the 20th century, the use of telephones were limited to the home or workplace. Then technology gave us the pager, the beeper and cell phones.

Everyone will agree that cell phones are better than other types of phones because aside from its being useful, it also offers different variety of features. Now you can watch movies, listen to the radio, and take memorable photos all with the cellular phone handset. Although millions of people use it, it is undeniable that not everyone knows about the technology for cell phones to work.

One such technology is GSM, how many of us know the correct meaning of this acronym? What are its uses?

GSM stands for "Global System for Mobile Communications". This refers to a cellular technology that is primarily based on a specified standard of how data is sent over a wireless network. GSM was taken in 1989 by the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) and they finalized the GSM standard in 1990. GSM cellular phones use a combination of time and frequency division multiple access.

How does the GSM? The GSM works very differently as compared to its analog predecessor. You may provide important features like a fax machine, encryption of text messages (this is the most used among its services), call forwarding, caller ID calling, call waiting and multi-party conferencing. This is useful because you can talk to the other line, without interference from other calls. The reason for this is because the GSM frequency channel is divided into several time slots and data travel as there is a slot specified for it, away from the other data. Apart from this, too there are other important characteristics that can be provided by GSM.

There are several components of the system and basic services to the GSM system can provide to its users. For starters, the main types of GSM devices both include single mode and dual mode mobile phones, embedded radio modules and even radio external modems.

Since there is a need to distinguish between voice and data communication, GSM has found a way to solve it. The GSM system has made a significant separation of the circuits between these two important elements - the circuit breaker refers to the main voice and packet switching refers services of primary data.

The main companies that offer a reliable service in the U.S. GSM are AT & T and Cingular merged companies already in a firm now. The second is T-Mobile.
