Motorola 2210 not working with Router?

I had my Motorola 2210 modem (AT&T DSL) hooked up to a Linksys WRT54G router, so I could have Wi-Fi in my house and an ethernet port for Xbox Live. It had been working great for about two months, until yesterday. So I opened the Easylink Advisor and setup a new network. I followed all the directions it gave me but it says it can't connect to the internet with the router. I tried lots of times but it still won't work, it only works if the ethernet cable is running directly from the modem into the computer. i googled the problem online and it told me to put the modem in "Bridged Mode" but I believe I've tried that and it's still no good!

This problem has me very frustrated, plus I don't know why it stopped since it had been working just fine!

Should I just buy a new router, if so which one do you recommend? Or is it the modem and should I call AT&T and tell them that their modems are a piece of crap?
Also, all the lights that should be on are lit...

Hey! Ok yeah it is true you need to put your moden on BRIDGE MODE, if you did this already, then there might be a problem with the configuration in your router... check that your username and password in the linksys matches with your user id and password you have with AT&T. Whenever you plugg your modem directly to the computer, do you change your modem from BRIDGE MODE to PPOE? If you don't do any of this, then that means that the modem is not on BRIDGE MODE. Make sure that you are putting it on BRIDGE MODE whenever is plugged to the router.

Some MOTOROLA modems are defective and you might need to call AT&T to check that for you... call them and tell them you are having issues with your modem... AT&T is not going to help you with your router though... what you can do also not to have a ot of problems is to purchase a 2WIRE GATEWAY ROUTER which is basically a modem and a router in once device. AT&T supports 100% this device, thus if you have any problem they are going to help you.

Right now what you can try is to check the settings in your linksys router. Make sure that your user id and password are the ones you use with AT&T, if you don't know this information call them and they'll provide that information for you.

If you have issues checking the setting in your Linksys, send me an e-mail and I can help you further, my e-mail is luisangelrivero@yahoo.com... I am pretty acquainted with this problems, so please if you need more help please let me know. God bless you and take care...
